Accessibility Statement
We build for older adults and their families, so a website that is hard to read or hard to tap is a website that has failed at its job.

What we have done
- Text you can read. Every link and button on the site was measured against its real painted background, and the ones that fell short were corrected.
- Targets you can hit. Form fields and buttons are at least 48 pixels tall, and form text is set large enough that a phone will not zoom the page when you tap into a box.
- No sideways scrolling. Checked on a 390 pixel phone screen across the site.
- The same navigation everywhere. All nine main sections are reachable from every page, and the footer carries the same links throughout.
- A visible focus outline when you move through the page with a keyboard.
- Nothing that moves on its own and nothing that demands a mouse.
What we have not tested yet
This site has not been through a formal accessibility audit, and we are not going to claim a certification we do not hold. Screen reader behaviour in particular has not been tested end to end. We would rather tell you that than let a badge imply coverage nobody has checked.
If something gets in your way
Tell us and we will fix it, and you do not need to explain it in technical terms. Saying "the green button is hard to read" is enough to act on.
Call (313) 942-9788 or email info@smseniorhomes.com.
If a page will not work for you at all, call us and we will take your details over the phone. Nothing on this site has to be done online.
