SM Senior Home Services (“SMSHS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides non-medical home support services to seniors and their families across the Detroit Metro Area. By using our website at smseniorhomes.com, booking services online, or engaging us by phone or email, you agree to these terms.
Services we provide
SMSHS provides non-medical home services including handyperson work, home safety assessments, daily living assistance, errand running, transportation, lawn / snow / yard services, pet care (via SM Senior PetCare), junk removal and moving (via Motor City Move it), and licensed-trade repair coordination (via SM Rehabbers). We do not provide medical care, nursing care, or clinical assessments.
Pricing & estimates
All prices on this website are estimates based on a standard pricing tier. Your final price may change in person at the time of service based on the actual job, property condition, accessibility, hazards, pets in the home, and any additional work needed. We always quote the final number in writing before any work begins. Booking online does not lock in pricing — final pricing is confirmed on arrival.
Cancellation
You may cancel a scheduled service up to 24 hours before the appointment without charge. Same-day cancellations may incur a trip-charge fee.
Liability
SMSHS carries general liability and workers' compensation insurance. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions of the property, pre-existing health conditions, or outcomes of services that fall outside the scope of work agreed in writing.
Privacy
We collect contact information (name, phone, email, address) only as needed to provide service. We do not sell your information. We may share information with the specific subcontractor or sub-brand fulfilling your service.
Subscriptions & recurring services
Recurring subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with 7 days written notice. Pre-paid recurring subscriptions are refundable on a pro-rata basis for unused services.
